Species Information:
This is a large, shaggy terrestrial native to Brazil.

  The N. carapoensis
The N. carapoensis

Feeding:
Pinhead crickets are all this little guy can handle right now.

Housing:
This spider lives in a large vial that was used for shipping some other creature. The substrate is about an inch of potting soil. There's a dime for it to dig under and for beads of water to collect on (as well as for scale in pictures).

I try to keep the humidity around 70-75%. It's usually about 80-84°F in my spider room, where they are kept. Because it's still really too small for a water dish, humidity is maintained by misting and moist substrate.

The spider has constructed a small burrow, but nothing substantial.

Temperment:
Can't say yet, but sould grow up to be a pretty bad hair kicker.
