May 10, 2001:
Wow, I've really gotten lax on the updates now. I've even been neglecting the molting records. A couple major notes of what's happened over the last month... A. purpurea died from unknown causes... It's never seemed as healthy as #2 (which is much more active and a better eater). The old B. boehmei male finally kicked the bucket. It hadn't eaten since I got it. I don't know if I mentioned it yet, but the "Usamabara" also died from unknown causes. The first breeder with Tick sucessfully hatched out spiderlings (I'll be getting 35). I've had a number of molts that I haven't got exact dates on... The P. regalis have been together still, but the male got eaten this morning. He was still courting as recently as yesterday. I guess she finally got fed up. If she's not knocked up by now, she never will be. Also, I've switched the females with Speck, so hopefully we'll get eggsacs from both. The first one already seems to be unusually fat!

I don't know when I'll be adding more pictures or anything, but I've been very busy lately, so don't hold your breath. Copyright ©1999-2010 Thomas Schumm
