  The P. fasciata
Getting some size and color.

Species Information:
This Poecilotheria is similar to P. regalis but native to Sri Lanka. They're fast and nervous, and their bite is rumored to be very painful.

Feeding:
She eats large crickets now that she's got some size.

Housing:
The spider lives in a 5.5 gallon aquarium tipped up on end. Substrate is an 2½" of peat/vermiculite. There is a piece of cork bark for climbing.

I try to keep the humidity around 75%. It's usually about 80-84°F in my spider room, where it is kept. Humidity is maintained by misting, moist substrate and a water dish.

She's got dirt covered webbing in lots of the cage.

Temperment:
Like all Poecilotheria, it's fast and nervous. Once when misting the cage, she ran from the bottom, right out the top, on to my thumb and then lept to the floor (floated down like a flying squirrel or something) before I could even blink. As it's gotten older, it's shown a bit more defensive behavior when cornered. Their bite is rumored to be painful as well.
