Species Information:
This lovely blue-gray centipede is native to florida (duh!) It was a freebie because it's got some problems with its antennae and head. I'm hoping it will survive long enough to repair those with a molt, but I'm not overly optimisitc.

  Hemiscolopendra marginata
Hopefully its injuries will repair.

Feeding:
Nothing yet...

Housing:
It's in a small deli-dish with a small water dish and piece of cork bark to hide under. Substrate is moist potting soil.

I try to keep the humidity up around 75%.

Temperment:
Centipedes are voracious predators and can inflict a painful bite. They're generally aggressive and prone to escape. I'm watching my fingers when I work in the cage, but so far, so good.

Molting:
None yet in my care!
