Species Information:
This deep burrowing, aggressive african is known for its fondness of moisture.

Feeding:
Small to medium crickets will make up the bulk of these Ts' diet.
 Crickets! Mmmmm, tasty!
Still eating little ones.

Housing:
These spiders currently live in a couple of those 16 oz. spice jars. They will probably need something bigger quite soon though. The substrate is a few inches potting soil. There's a piece of cork bark for climbing.

I try to keep the humidity around 70-75%. It's usually about 80-84°F in my spider room, where they are kept. Because they're still really too small for a water dish, humidity is maintained by misting and moist substrate.

Both T's immediately constructed deep burrows once they were put in their cages.

Temperment:
This species should be aggressive once it is grown.

Molting:
Note: I missed some molts between 04/19/2001 and 05/10/2001.
